NAIDOC Week

As part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations, our wonderful 5B students created heartfelt posters, each featuring a unique Acknowledgement of Country.

Tying into this year’s powerful theme, "Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud!" each acknowledgement honours the rich culture, history, and language of the Kabi Kabi people. The students incorporated significant First Nation symbols and local language, showcasing their respect and understanding of the land we stand on. Here are some inspiring photos of the posters, reflecting the students' creativity and dedication. This activity not only deepened their connection to our First Nations communities but also emphasised the importance of keeping our cultural fires burning brightly.
Let’s continue to celebrate NAIDOC Week with pride, respect, and solidarity.
